Her love and passion for her beautiful homeland have been a part of her since childhood.
What sets you apart from other travel providers?
We create highly personalized private tours, where every guest has the chance to shape their journey to match their own preferences. We offer private tours exclusively for solo travelers, couples, families, and friends, with the flexibility to choose your own travel dates.
From start to finish, you’ll be accompanied by Brigitte Heller herself. As a lifelong Swiss native, she knows the country inside out and frequently visits the destinations. In your small, private group, Brigitte can guide you in German, English, or French, ensuring a smooth, personalized experience.
For us, trust and personal connection are everything. That’s why, during the planning process, you’ll get to know us through personal video chats—an approach that’s uniquely offered by Brigitte Heller and sets us apart from any other travel organizer.
What hotels do you choose?
We select accommodations in 5-star luxury hotels and remarkable first-class properties, each with unique views, stunning locations, or even castle-like settings. With her experience as a former hotel director, Brigitte Heller knows what it takes to find truly exceptional hotels. She has personally visited and inspected each one, ensuring that every room provides the highest level of comfort and elegance.
Where does the travel organization by Switzerland-Highlights.com begin and end?
Your incredible journey starts at Zurich-Kloten Airport, but we can also welcome you at Basel-Mulhouse or Geneva-Cointrin, or even at any private airfield in Switzerland (or any place you are located). We’re there for you the moment you pick up your luggage and step into the arrivals hall. Just look for us with a sign bearing your name, ready to greet you with a warm smile and help you kick off your adventure in style!
Are meals included in the itinerary?
Breakfast is included every day, setting the perfect tone for your adventures! While lunch, dinner, and snacks aren’t included, we’ll recommend amazing restaurants tailored to your tastes and take care of the reservations for you. If you’re in the mood for Michelin-starred or gourmet dining, we’ll ensure those special experiences are booked in advance, allowing you to savor every moment.
What types of vehicles do you use?
We use comfortable, safe, and air-conditioned private vehicles. For a family or a larger group with friends, we have minivans, travel buses, or SUVs available. Please inform us urgently about the number and size of both large and small suitcases you will be bringing (provide dimensions for length, width, and height). We need this information after the final booking as we must pre-order the appropriate vehicle.
What is the best time to travel?
The months from May to October are the best travel months for our luxury trips. These early summer, summer, and autumn months offer the best weather and temperatures. Daytime temperatures in the country range between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, and it is cooler in the mountains. The cold winter months from December to March are dedicated to snow sports and winter destinations.
How long in advance should I plan and book my trip?
Once you have decided for a trip with us, please send us your booking inquiry. Brigitte Heller guides the trips herself, so the first bookings have priority.
What travel documents will I receive after booking a trip?
Once you have definitively booked the trip, we will send you a confirmation of reservation. After receiving your deposit, we will book all hotels, special trains, etc. Following that, we will provide you with a detailed confirmed travel itinerary, including hotels and services from third parties such as special trains.
Who conducts the trip if Brigitte Heller is unable to do it?
If Brigitte Heller is unable to act as the tour guide, only professionals whom Brigitte Heller has known for decades and fully trusts will be deployed. They, too, have grown up in Switzerland and are well-acquainted with the country, its landscapes, local traditions and customs, Swiss cuisine, culture, art, etc. They also bring a lot of joy, passion, and love for beautiful Switzerland.
What happens if I have a health emergency?
We have completed a Basic Life Support (BLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course. In case of an emergency, we are capable of providing first aid with our own first aid kit and immediately calling the Swiss emergency medical service at phone number 144. In less accessible locations and in the mountains, the REGA Swiss Air-Rescue service can be reached at any time through the emergency number 1414. The resulting costs will be charged separately by the service providers to your credit card.
Do I need travel insurance?
We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance (including travel delay, trip cancellation, trip interruption, and baggage insurance) as soon as a trip is booked. If you do not have travel insurance and are unable to start or complete your tour for any reason, you will lose the entire amount you paid for your trip. ALL INSURANCES are your responsibility and must be arranged by yourself. Switzerland-Highlights.com assumes NO responsibility for this and CANNOT be held liable.
Do I need health, accident, and emergency evacuation insurance?
